Day 03 · the man's side
The Law of the Parameter — the Wall and the Gate
His weapon
The wall, and the gate set in it
His post
On the perimeter, deciding what enters
The charge
A domain without a boundary is not a domain; it is open country. The lord sets the wall — hours, money, company, appetite — not to keep life out but to decide what is allowed near his people.
Every wall needs one gate and a man at it. A father who cannot say no at the gate has already handed his house to whoever knocks loudest.
The watch — what it looks like when he skips this day
No wall, so everything is urgent and nothing is defended.
His oath
“What enters my house passes me first.”
The other side of the mirror
On the women's side this same day is The Law of Parameter, and its stone is Emerald. Same law, same order — she strings it, he sets it in stone.
