Day 25 · the man's side

The Law of the Position — the Seat at the Head

His weapon

The chair, and the ground he holds

His post

At the head of the table, on time

The charge

Position is not domination; it is presence at the post. The seat at the head of a table is an obligation to be there — to bless the food, hear the week, decide the hard thing.

A man who abandons the seat does not remove the seat. Someone or something else fills it.

The watch — what it looks like when he skips this day

An empty chair, and a house governed by whatever was loudest.

His oath

I will be in the seat, and I will be sober in it.

The other side of the mirror

On the women's side this same day is The Law of Position, and its stone is Amethyst. Same law, same order — she strings it, he sets it in stone.
